jasonp (1443), Sterling/Dulles, Virginia, USA Dec 10, 2006 Nitro, served at OD. Pours clear copper with a creamy head. The nose is a little grassy but mostly muted and neutral. Flavor has notes of toasted malts, caramel, a little bread, grassy/herbal hops and some diacetyl. Medium to light bodied with a smooth texture and light carbonation. Ok. The_Beer_God (2855), Newport News, Virginia, USA Jul 21, 2006 Draft at Old Dominion before RBSG. Ruby body with a small head. Nose is buttery and malty. Light fruit notes. Taste is fruit, creamy malts, caramel, and buttery bready flavors. Body is medium and creamy. Finishes with more fruit notes, sweet, buttery malts and a touch of caramel. MilkmanDan (1938), Eagan, Minnesota, USA Aug 18, 2005 The nitro pour has the intended effect, a beautiful sheeting wall of golden brown settling into a pretty glassful of beer. Nose is light peat and sweetness. Flavor is nitro-ed, a bit of wood and peat, some sweetness, but the nitro kills the complexity here. Needs to be not on nitro, but still decent argo0 (6230), Washington DC, USA Jul 30, 2005 (draft, on nitro) Clear copper body with off-white head, lovely lacing. Aroma is mild, medium sweet, slight metallic. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, cereal, bland. Creamy, lgith-medium body. jeffc666 (1821), Fairfax, Virginia, USA Jun 19, 2005 Clear amber with a dense Nitrogen pour off-white head. Sweet lightly caramel aroma. Teh flavor is medium sweet, light caramel, and citrusy. Soft watery nitrogen body. I am not a fan of these nitrogrn pour beers. This one is pretty decent, quite subtle. Pull it off of the niotro and my review jump up a few points.
