COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Dominion Lager is brewed using four types of malted barley: Two-Row Pale Brewer’s malt, Munich, Carapils, and Caramel. The bittering hops are Perle and Hallertau from the Yakima Valley in Washington State. The aromatic hops are domestic Tettnang, German Hallertau Hersbrucker, and Czech Saaz. This combination of malt and hops, along with a classic lager yeast from Germany, and the long, low-temperature lagering process results in a mild, smooth, flavorful, complex beer that is a delight to drink.

Poured from the tap to a light orange-yellow color with thin white head that dissipated quickly and left little lacing. Nose and taste were both dominated by grain, to the point that little else was noticed. The mouthfeel was medium bodied and slightly tingly, and the finish was short and dry. Not too much to this one.

Bottled date 081908. Poured golden with a creamy white head that settles to a ring and left light lace. Aromas of wheat, toasty malts, butter, and a lemon background. The flavor found toasted malts and butter. Light body, dry, and tingly carbonation.

Bottle at Mellow Mushroom Savannah. Hazy straw color, little head. Yeasty stale sweet aroma. Low carbonation but fizzy mouthfeel. Lemony tartness. Sweet-sour and acidic as if not fresh.

Pours a slightly cloudy golden yellow with a small white head. Grainy aroma with hints of zesty lemon and yeast. Taste of grain, zesty lemon and sour bread dough.

Mediocre pour with no head and no lacing. Aroma is of sourdough bread intermixed with a slight floral accent. Taste was pedestrian. Mouthfeel was non-existent and finish was sour.

not quite what I am looking for in this style of beer. it has a touch of sourness and unpleasant adjuncts. it is high malty with almost no hops and very little else to go with.
