Thaichile (594), 10aFly, New Jersey, USA Jun 30, 2007 Bottle. Pours a clear lighter amber with a suprising light, fluffy head capping the pint. Nose is very malty. Flavor profile continues with the lightly roasted malt notes. Some faint fruit and sweetness. It was smooth, but not all that much happening here. This was OK, not offensive, but not enough to make you want a 2nd.
TURDFERGUSON (1134), Carrboro, North Carolina, USA Aug 31, 2008 Bottle on closeout at Sam’s. Nose was sweet malts, toast, and buttery diacetyl. I could really taste the diacetyl in the flavor which left this one almost undrinkable. Light, crisp mouthfeel. I could see this beer being pretty good fresh, but with these infections, its pretty tough to like. Kirill (239), Durham, North Carolina, USA Aug 25, 2008 full gold with small head... one of the more yeasty lager aromas ive ever smelled.. sweet aftertaste with a good german lager feel to it... good lager, especially selling for $9.99 for a 24 pack dkachur (771), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Aug 19, 2008 12 oz. bottle from a sampler, bottle 07/28/08. Golden pour with almost no head. Bread and corn aroma with some grassy notes. Taste is very bready with some grass and a slightly bitter hop note. Medium body. OldGrowth (1269), Cary, North Carolina, USA Aug 4, 2008 Pint @ Harrison’s. Sweet aroma. Corny, biscuity, bready. Orange golden color, good head that faded quick, little to no lace. Bitter sweet flavor Initial grassy bitter flavor gives way to a corn sweetness. Lite body, thin creamy mouth feel. Bitter dry finish, Eh, the sweetness was abit much for me. Not that it was over whelming, but it made it not me not want another. Straight foward kind of american style lager overall. ucusty (1062), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA Jul 12, 2008 Amber pour with a fluffy white head. Not much of an aroma. Crisp and clean, slightly hoppy. nothing too exciting
