Draft at Green Leafe, Williamsburg VA. This is hazy orange with a thin veil of foam. Lightly hoppy, but not much of a bite. Smooth and evenly malty, mostly. This is a well done, light lager, an awesome beer if you’re looking for a good session lager! (#2696, 2/12/2007)

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 egajdzis (4587) - Spring Mount, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 4, 2004
Pours a golden color with a small white head. Malty, beerish, very slightly hoppy aroma. Very bready with some hop bitterness. I am trying to like lagers, but they just don't blow me away like ales do. This does go down smooth. Thanks hopscotch.
2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20 tiggmtl (4475) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 10, 2005
Crisp, spicy, floral hop aroma with an oily, buttery diacetyl character that, while not pronounced, is out of place for the style. Clear, burnished golden-yellow with a light cover of large-bubbled bright white head. Crisp, toasty malt flavour balances nicely with floral, grassy hops and a light bitterness with a slight buttery undertone. Medium-light body with fairly effervescent, medium carbonation. Bottled on 2-Dec-04, (trade - Feb. 2005), sampled with MartinT, Olivier_MTL and Rastacouere. Thanks, hopscotch!
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 blankboy (4451) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 17, 2009
Bottle (12oz) shared with HogTownHarry & garthicus -- c/o garthicus. Pours a slightly hazy orange-copper with a small diminishing white head. Aroma’s grainy and a bit bready along with caramel malt. Slightly watery flavour, some hops in there, grain, caramel malt and a bit vegetal. Average bodied. Not bad, it’s O.K.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 j12601 (4434) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - DEC 5, 2009
Bottle. Pours a hazy brown with a thin beige head. Sweet and malty with some strong caramel. Medium bodied, not a lot going on flavorwise. Some malt and a bit of grain. Long bitter finish with a bit of a metallic note.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 badlizard (4411) - San Diego, California, USA - SEP 7, 2008
Bottle in VA. Bright golden yellow with a fizzy white head. Sweet grain and vanilla aroma and taste with some nice milky oat notes and a clean finish. Quite good.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 TheBeerGod (4131) - Newport News, Virginia, USA - JAN 1, 2004
Pours a translucent yellow with a medium foamy white head. Nose is hops and some malt. This may be heresy, but it almost has a Belgian-ish sweetness to it. The taste seems rather bland. Hops, some malts and grains. Maybe a slight hint of fruit, also. The finish is almost nonexistent. I can taste almost nothing. I can see this being very refreshing in the summer and very drinkable but it is just very avergae and plain.
2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 PorterPounder (4111) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - NOV 20, 2003
Murky, dark golden color. White sticky head with clingy lacing. Chemical-like aroma. Flavor is slightly bready with some trailing yeastiness. Overall, slightly sour. Thick mouthfeel but it gets lost with a very artificial, pasty aftertaste. Overall, not a bad lager but leaves you feeling if something is missing. Needs work.
