Draft at Moriartys. Clear honey pour with a frothy off-white head. Lots of caramelized sugar. Kumquats. Burnt orange peels. Clear sugar toys. Lotus blossom. Lots of citrus floral resiny hops to balance out the sweet blonde malts. Smooth start with a bite in the finish. Boozy, but not as harsh as the ABV might suggest. Nice, just not particularly extraordinary.

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured in a nice brownish amber hue with a nice off white head that left a lot of lacing. Aroma of malts and fruit, some booze in there too. Taste is sweet and fruity too, some honey in there and a nice hop bitterness towards the end. Nice and super enjoyable beer, but it
is to be drank slowly.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle pour 2012 stamp..medium amber hue..incredible amount of tight carbonated bubbles..1/2 finger head leaving some good lacing..quite a bit of haze when held up to the light when you look for it through the carbonation..honey is literally bursting out on first whiff yet it does dissipate a bit..mouthfeel is medium bodied with some slight caramel stickiness that is not overly boozy at first..but on linger you know this is a relatively big..warming beer..has some grapefruit pithy notes on finish that make this interesting all around..one of better offerings yet to date from this outfit in Dover..worth a try..

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
2010, 10.5% abv bottle thanks to billshmeinke. Pours with a quite murky deep bronze to amber hue with a medium sized offwhite head that fades to a ring. Big aroma of booze, sweet cara malts, stewed fruits, figs, dates, marmalade and honey. Very sticky smelling yet pretty refined. Flavors are malty, sweet, toasty, honeycomb, tea, marmalade and raisins. Lots of crystal malts, yet surprisingly not quite as sticky as expected. Medium to full body, medium carbonation with some alcohol.
