Loose lips sink ships, and coquettish glory will never tell. A midnight stout brewed with coffee beans, Morning Glory wakes up at 9% ALC. By Vol., with the aroma of espresso.

Bottle 35,5 cl. Pours black with a neat reddish hue and a light brown head. Very thick and dominating coffee aroma. Rich, malty sweet body, lots of roast and licorice, vanilla notes. Coffee throughout. Warming alcohol finish. Nice enough. 300615

12 oz bottle in D.C. A very good, mainstream coffee stout. Good balance in both bitter/sweet and in roasted grains/coffee flavors. Looked like it might be over-carbonated at the pour but the feel was quite good. O: recommended.

Pours black with a short thick tan head. Very mild vanilla and chocolate aroma. Soft cocoa ( not milk chocolate) taste with a chalky middle. Soft foamy mouth feel. Not as heavy as some stouts. ---Rated via Beer Buddy

Back of the bottle reads "bottled on 02/13/15." This was poured into a mini - snifter. The appearance was a black color with no head nor lacing. The smell had some dark fruit blending with roasty coffee bean. Light cocoa balances nicely. The taste was mainly roasty with the dark fruity tones making it semi-sweet together. Dry roasty coffee aftertaste leads to no finish. On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a decent sipping quality about it. Carbonated decently as a Double Stout, dry roastiness really develops on my tongue. Overall, I say this was a decent Double Stout. But probably not necessarily a go-to.

Bottle from the Kihoskh, Copenhagen. Poured a clear dark brown with a frothy tan head. The aroma is roasted sweet malt, creamy caramel. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter with a big roasty, liqourice, coffee, dark chocolate palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A tasty beer, but needs more body.
