Loose lips sink ships, and coquettish glory will never tell. A midnight stout brewed with coffee beans, Morning Glory wakes up at 9% ALC. By Vol., with the aroma of espresso.

Poured a jet black from a 22 oz bottle. Little to no head which was disappointing. Probably due to the higher abv. Smelled just like an espresso from a coffee shop and tasted the same but a little sweeter. Seriously... Put it in a Starbucks cup and heat it up and you wouldn’t tell the difference. Sticky on the lips and very light carbonation. Again probably from the abv. Great filling dark coffee stout. I could drink it in the morning with a donut.

Pours from bottle deep rich brown, slight hint of ruby, with medium mocha head that leaves a bit of skim. Rise-and-shine aroma of coffee, roast malt, nuts. Palate is coffee, a bit harsh initially, but soon moderated by dark chocolate, a fizzy cola note and a bit of creaminess. Seems like a pick-me-up, though the 9 percent ABV would soon put an end to that. But very tasty for a glass or two.

Aroma - rich coffee, chocolate, and some alcohol. Appearance - body is black body. 1" fallow brown head. Head hangs on tight. Lacing drapes with the alcohol cloying. Taste - roast, chocolate, and barley. Palate - body is full, texture creamy, the carbonation is average, and roast astringent finish.

Pour out of 12 oz bottle, thanks Drake! Dark brownish black pour with tan head, aroma brought notes of roast, dirty old coffee grounds, hints of dark cocoa, some slight earthy notes, touch of toast. Taste was a mix of roast, cocoa, slight espresso and coffee bean, slightly acrid coffee grounds, hints of spice, finishing slightly bitter.

Deep flavors of coffee and cocoa, light roast in the malt. Just a little toast and char, more punchy than creamy.

12 ounce bottle. Opaque black color. Moderate frothy tan head. Rich roasted malt flavor has notes of espresso and dark cocoa. Bittersweet roasted malt flavor. Oily texture and mouthfeel. Some warming alcohol in finish.

A good solid coffee stout. Plenty of body but the higher alcohol is not apparent. It's nice and malty and there are good coffe/chocolate balances ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

355ml bottle, trade with Skinnyviking and shared with Finn. Espresso head slowly diminishing. Black body with a ruby glint. Powerful aroma of coffee and dark chocolate. The flavour profile follows suit with coffee grounds, almond, and black chocolate. Prolonged ending, nicely roasted. Smooth on the swallow. Warming and tasty (session at Finns, Tromsø 16.12.2015).
