3.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Smooth and super drinkable for a stout. Tan head and a dark brown pour.
Mouthfeel is velvety. Huge vanilla here in the nose and in the taste. Oak is subtle. Quite nice!

3.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. I believe this is the first stout I have tried. I do not like a "hoppy" beer so I decided to try some stouts because of their flavor profiles and other reviews.
This is a good beer. I didn’t notice a strong aroma when poured. It pours a beautiful dark brown almost black color with a nice tan head that lasted until the end. Coffee and slight vanilla tase is present. Slight hoppy bitterness at the end. Overall, very enjjoyable and would definitley drink again. Will be trying more stouts based on this experience.

Thick coffee and chocolate, rich, dark, looks beautiful a slides down like nectar. Barman in DC claimed it was of the best stouts in the world and he wasn’t wrong-utterly delicious, stunning beer.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Beer Utopia. Pours black with some light coming through the edges. A big, dense creamy beige head sits atop leaving sticky lacing. Nose shows heavy roast, chocolate biscuit, vanilla and spice. The roast is a little too forthcoming. Taste shows medium smoked wood, chocolate, liquorice. Quite a dry, peppery finish. Easy drinking but a little one dimensional and boring

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Deep brown/black with a thin beige head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, vanilla, bready malt, wood, light smokey bourbon - aroma just lacks strength. Taste is light sweet, light sour. Texture could be thicker - slick with light carbonation. Good beer, but could improve in every aspect.
