Ungstrup (10824), Frederiksberg, Denmark Dec 25, 2005 A brown beer with a disappearing brown head. The aroma is sweet wtih notes of wood and prunes, while the flavor is sweet and dominated by the wood, but also some roasted notes. But the body is thin. omhper (10140), Stockholm, Sweden Aug 20, 2004 Bottled. Dark black, creamy beige head. Dry, woody, creamy and light bodied. Traces of coffee and butter. Oakes (6784), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Oct 23, 2005 Funny appearance. It looks dark brown but there’s not a whole lot of light getting through regardless. The aroma mixed oak, vanilla and coffee. Very sweet flavour with lots of vanilla and oak, to the point where it overwhelms the stout character it ought to have. Those coffee notes go so far back in the background and you won’t find much hop here at all. A bit unbalanced but okay if vanilla is your thing. joergen (6141), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 13, 2006 Bottle.
Dark brown coloured with a medium sized beige head.
Roasted aroma of malts, butterscotsch and vanilla.
