3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Not a stand out in the stout category but pretty drinkable. Right balance of sweet and bitter and enough weight to feel like you are drinking a real stout. Just a hint of the vanilla to me and the oak chips don’t do much for me. Think I, personally, would stick to oak barrel or nothing. Pretty decent- would order a pint.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours almost black with a nice brown head. Aroma has lots of sweet vanilla, chocolate, quite sugary notes, tiny notes of oak and some dark fruits. Taste has quite the same but add some hoppy notes and a weak note of metal. Suffers a bit from the "Stout" phenomenon where the beer suffers from the low ABV.
