JoeMcPhee (3628), Jackson Heights, New York, USA Jun 14, 2008 On tap in Reagan Airport. Amber coloured beer. Aroma is lightly malty. A bit of herbal/toasty sweetness. Fairly generic though with not a whole lot of character. Low bitterness, kind of herbal. Meh. blutt59 (501), Dallas, Texas, USA May 29, 2008 on tap at the Ice House, light fruit nose with a decent golden yellow color, some grapefruit citrus flavor with a thin watery finish chronictonic (331), Wyndmoor, Pennsylvania, USA May 26, 2008 On tap - Dominion brewpub - May 2008 Pours and coppery red color. I could detect no aroma at all - no hops, not malts - nada. Flavor matched the aroma - thin and weak. If seltzer were a beer - this would be it. It was crisp and dry, but damn near flavorless. Is this Budweiser’s influence showing on Dominion now that they own them?? changeup45 (525), Orlando, Florida, USA Apr 12, 2008 Copper colored, somewhat thin head and a little bit of lace. Sweet, malty aroma, although not very strong. Seems like a nice blend of hops and malts. There’s a quick malt taste with a fairly smooth hoppy finish. Both are easily detected. Finishes a little bitter. The more you taste it the more the bitter mouthfeel comes out. A pretty good Pale Ale. Speedle (260), Mid-Atlantic (Tour 2007-2008), Virginia, USA Feb 27, 2008 amber pour ... sour musty aroma .... tastes 10x better than it smells... nice bitter hop pine citrus smart with a smooth middle and a crisp bitter finish .... I had to go back to check the aroma ... some of the original skunk disappeared, but not all of it ... good tasting beer, but I was thrown off by the aroma .... went back for the 3rd time ... now aroma is fine .. classic IPA, citrus and pine resin ... overall nice hop and malt balance .... I’m staying local to the brewery, I have to stop by and and see if they have it on draft
