COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This rich, red ale is made in the American Pale Ale style. It has a strong hop character, medium body, dry finish, and floral hop aroma. We use pale Two-Row Brewer’s malt, Caramel 80 and 40 Lovibond malt, and Munich malt. For bittering and aroma Willamette, Cascade, and Tettnang hops are used in the kettle and as dry hopping in the fermenter.

Poured a reddish amber color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, pine, caramel malts, toast, toffee, and a bit of nuts. Taste of grapefruit, citrus fruits, woody hops, pine, and light tobacco.

bottle from grape and gourmet poured into a pint glass. pours a darker copper with hints of gold and a big, bubble eggshell head. aroma is mild but very pleasing with mostly floral hops, citrus notes or orange and lemon, apple cider and cinnamon notes, and a bit of toasty malt. flavor is very nice with floral, leafy hops, fresh cut grass, citrus, red apple peel, and slightly sweet caramel malt. palate is very smooth, medium bodied, and well balanced with a dry and nicely bitter finish. overall, a quality beer.

Amber, small head. Hoppy nose, malts, astringently dry bitter hoppy finish; nice contrast with several far less interesting beers around it at the DBF.

Deep blond color. Light but nice hop aroma. It has some malt flavor, getting better in the final, with a discreet hopping; quite strong bitterness, with fairly good hops. Pleasant.

12 oz. bottle from a sampler, bottle 073108. Clear brown pour with not much head. Cascade hop aroma is strong with some vegetal notes. Very leafy hop taste with a grainy malt background. Medium bodied. Nice beer.
