COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This rich, red ale is made in the American Pale Ale style. It has a strong hop character, medium body, dry finish, and floral hop aroma. We use pale Two-Row Brewer’s malt, Caramel 80 and 40 Lovibond malt, and Munich malt. For bittering and aroma Willamette, Cascade, and Tettnang hops are used in the kettle and as dry hopping in the fermenter.

It may be the bottle playing with my subconscious, but I caught a hint of a woodsy undertones in the aroma, a lighter, more citrusy smell dominated however. A solid session beer, in my mind, as it has a relatively full flavor that is not overpowering in any aspect. Although not a terribly complex beer, there is a sufficient variety of flavor to satisfy almost any beer lover.

Usually have a 1/6 keg of this in my downstairs fridge. It’s a perfectly serviceable APA. Well balanced malt and hops, some citrus, a solid pale ale, especially for the 1/6 keg price.

I think that this is my new favorite beer. It has a beautiful color and excellent taste. Just a pleasure to drink this beer. Then again, that isnt shocking since Dominion makes some of the best beers I’ve had so far.

A clear red brew with fruity soft-wood aroma. Not much hops in the nose. The palate was a bit thicker than expected, but not in an unpleasant way; it finished cleanly. Too much caramel sweetness for my tastes in a pale ale, although there was a nice suble hop bitterness. This beer is not unpleasant, but carries no strong recommendation.
