3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 TheBeerGod (4130) - Newport News, USA - JUN 7, 2008
Bottle. Bottling date is 011408. This has been under refrigeration since purchase. Hazy gold pour. Small white head. Nose is fruity, somewhat sweet, light yeast and honey. Taste is equally sweet with more honey notes, ripe fruits, yeast, spices, and soft candyish notes. Body is light-medium but very bubbly and effervescent. Finish is more fruit notes, lots of yeast, sweett malts, some candy flowers, soft spice and honey. Not as bad as the previous ratings let on. Perhaps my bottle is the exception, but I enjoyed this.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Butters (3014) - Richmond, Virginia, USA - JAN 11, 2011
Near clear dull orange amber pour with thin ring of near white head. Honey sweet nose and flavor, but with a good bit of alcohol and hints of orange blossom flowers on the flavor. Sticky mouthfeel. Reminiscent of many euro strong lagers i’ve had.

I didn’t care for this. To fizzy, not at much flavor and not a good flavor. Nothing discernable, just kind of muddled bleh. might as well drink a bud light

12 oz bottle to shaker. This beer grew on me a little. Pours with nice thick foamy head. Honey colored and cloudy. Very citrus and sour initially. Thin, but not watery. Very slight Hoppy after-taste that at first seems not descript, but grew on me after a few sips. Better than initial impression.

Enjoying this as our Friday wrap-up beer at work. The color is piss yellow with a tremendous amount of foam. The taste is of a watery belgian with a tiny spice and a good bit of alcohol.

(Sample Date: 3/1/2009 Source:Other) 12 ox bottle. Spicy Belgian yeast character along with cereal graininess in aroma. Cloudy yellow golden. Moderate fruitiness in flavor along with spicy yeast phenolics following aroma closely. High carbonation adds a light fizzy mouthfeel. Finish is dry, moderately bitter with a very slight sourness.
