Dark burgundy colour. Thinnish, coffeeish aroma. Body is light, nutty, toasty. Plain, and I don't mean porter.

Cola colored with minimal off-white head. Aroma is light sweet, nutty, some roasty. Taste is light sweet, some cola, nutty. Medium body. Almost a porter in characteristics.

Very, very dark ale. Beautiful, crystal clear, crimson hue when held up to bright light. Small, lightly tanned, creamy head with decent lacing. Milk chocolate, vanilla and almonds in the nose. Also, lesser notes of coffee and pistaschios. Well-balanced flavor with lots of cocoa, espresso and vanilla. Very nice, moderately bitter hops. Medium-bodied with a silky mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Lengthy, burnt, bitter finish. Great stout!

(Bottle) Pours a dark brown with a medium creamy tan head. This beer just did not do it for me.

Cushy, dry roastiness sickened by a thinnish curse...Coffee drones are emitted, as well as the dumbfoundedness as to what is going wrong here...Just no passion in it...

#6 of my Stouts of November: Brown hue with some reddish highlights. Small off-white head with little lace. The aroma had an interesting hoppy character which is too much for a sweet stout. Hints of molasses, mild coffee, twnmagy fruitsm floral hops, hint of smoke and vanilla. The taste was acidic with the sweetness and bitterness a background presence, wierd. Mild finish with some bitterness and a chalky feel. A bit too thin body for a stout. Just a average brew, okay to try once.

Dark black color. Medium head. Aroma is chocolate, coffee and roasted malts. A light to medium bodied stout. Roasted malts with chocolate and coffee flavors, a touch sweet. Spicy hops. A touch watery, but not to bad. A very drinkable stout. Mouthfeel is round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter, touch of lingering coffee.
