Pours deep brown with a tan, creamy head. Aroma is chocolate, roasted malts, earthy hops. Thin body. Flavor starts out a bit smoky, chocolate, dark and sweet fruit, light roasted malts. A decent beer but needs more oomph.

Black with little head. Aroma and taste are dominated by licorice. Rye makes a late appearance. Not so great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours coca cola like with a nice tan head that does not leave lacing. The aroma is of licorice and chocolate malt. The taste is dead on to the scent. A rich yet drinkable beer. Itís pretty complex and quite tasty. This is a good one!

Coffee, dark roasted malts, yeast on the nose. Itís a dark dark brown pour with tons of retaining tan head. Coffee, bread, roast, chocolate taste. Nice beer

Bottle from Total Wine in Claymont. Pours black with a big tan head that quickly dissipates. The aroma has chocolate, licorice, faint roastiness. The taste is very rich with a big milk chocolate, licorice, bitter coffee, light toffee. The palate shocked me as it looked watery on the pour.. but itís very full on the tongue. Nice!

Thin light brown head of fine bubbles. Milk chocolate aroma with some raisins, sweet malts and a hint of licorice. Color is a very dark brown. Solid roasted malts, chalky grains, some more dark chocolate and maybe some molasses. Rather dry and somewhat chalky palate. Really not sweet enough to be a baltic porter. Finishes dry and roasty. Not a very good baltic porter.

From a bottle poured a dark brown color with a fair amount of head. Light toasted malty flavor with a quick finish.
