3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
brown, hazy, medium sweetness, lightly bitter. Nice beer. Although I´d always go for the "trippel" on this brand

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
(Bottle, Delirium Monasterium, Brussels, 26 Oct 2013) Dark brown colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with caramel, brown sugar and dark bread. Malty taste with notes of caramel, brown sugar, dried fruit and a mild spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. A fairly generic dubbel, but well made and tasty. Quite nice.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Very attractive bottle, beer is dark amber/ruby red in colour with thin beige head that lasts. Average carbo for the style, palate lacks a bit of muscle. Aroma is red fruits, malt, banana but all a bit subtle. Taste is sweet up front but bitter finish that hangs around. Not too bad overall.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
33 cl. bottle. Split by 2 @ outside. Lovely looking bottle, procured from Willems. Drank straight from the bottle. Carb. is a bit too high, influencing the taste, body does feel nicely full, flavourful with big brown sugar, sweetish jam, light prunes, touch grape jelly, sweet spices, sweet malt & candy. Pretty solid but still fairly standard, flavourful dubbel.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Brown bodied, mostly clear it seems, small head. Simple brown malts, cookies, classic hop underlying but very moderate. Yeast is a bit cleaner than the average Belgian dubbel. Reason balance between cookie sweetness and simple bitterness. Boring though. It’s okay. (In tap at Birreria Andorra)
