brown, hazy, medium sweetness, lightly bitter. Nice beer. Although I´d always go for the "trippel" on this brand

From Hipercor. In Teku glass. After dinner. Didnt expect much and have been surprised with a tasty dubbel, with a good amount of plum in its profile. 2 months before BB date.

33cl pour from refrigerated bottle in Kazakhstan. Pours opaque, solidly brown with a light tan soapy head and notable carbonation. Nose is lightly sweet, dark fruit, lots of plum, raisin, apricot, some malty notes. Body is medium, crisp, a little on the watery side. Dry finish. Taste matches the nose with more of the maltiness present. A bitter grainy finish.

Pelo teor alcoólico já se espera uma dubbel mais leve o que de fato é verdade. Mesmo sendo fácil de beber é bem gostosa. Amargor quase inexistente, mas tá ali pra fazer conjunto.

Shared 750 ml corked & caged bottle, as Dominus Double Brune, at local tasting. Dark brown to ruby colour, large off-white head. Strong malty and sugary aroma, notes of brown kandij sugar and caramel, hints of mild spices. Sweet and sugary flavour too, more brown sugar than caramel. Minimal hops. Hints of acetone / glue. Not my favourite double - definitely not trappist quality.

Shared bottle at local nautical tasting. Pours almost clear deep brown with a small creamy head. Strong malty aroma with prunes and raisins, something unpleasant , like rubber glue. Taste is burnt rubber with green apples, long unpleasant finish.

God fylde.

Shared bottle at RB/HD on board Fridtjofen 26.01.16. Muddy nut brown. Even pale brown head. Cloying aroma of sweet dried fruits and vegetables. Taste is more refreshng, with fresh and dried fruits. Green apples in aftertaste is pulling down.
