thewolf (12027) - Kolding, DENMARK - JUN 29, 2011
Bottle, bought @ Willems, Grobbendonk.
Deep golden with an orange glow. Big, frothy, off-white head. Fizzes away slowly. Aroma has oranges, light sweet malts, a bit of metal, red apples. Medium carbonation, fairly light and breezy mouthfeel. Flavour is mild, light vinious and warming, some apple and oranges again. A bit of dryish metal again. Standard darkish triple. Not the best.

Rune (11054) - Tromsř, NORWAY - SEP 2, 2012
330ml bottle, as Triple Blonde, shared with Frau Eva at The House of Beer. Slightly cloudy, amber coloured body. Thin white head. Sweet fruity hops to the nose with tolerable vapour of alcohol. Mild yeasty fruitiness in flavour alongside notes of almond and earthy malts with alcohol lurking behind. Very smooth on the swallow. Quite alright without greater excitements (Rethymno, 16.08.2012).

330 ml bottle. BB 10/2013. From finestshop.be.
Cloudy ambery golden colour with a small white head. The aroma is sweet caramel, mild fruits, mild spices, Belgian style yeast and malt. The flavour is more simple with malt, mild hoppy fruitiness, mild yeast and some alcohol. Not very tasty or balanced Tripel.

Slightly aged sample Good cream head over quite carbonated foxy-orange beer. Very perfumed nose with rosewater, fruitesters. Sweet, chlidren’s sweets taste, near syrupy. Fruity esters; just not dry in the finish. Very slick, near viscous MF, underattenuated for the "style". Rosewater again in the aftertaste. Clearly the Tripel suffered more under the filtering than the Dubbel - as under the aging.
