12HundredBaud (262) - Sausalito, California, USA - OCT 20, 2010
Bottle from a beer fair un Girona. It pours a murky amber-brownish liquid with creamy white-beige small-medium head. It smells of fine belgian malt, with hints of ripe fruit (apple), caramel, hops, yeast and alcohol. The flavour is a very pleasant mix of sweet malt, spices and ripe fruit; very balanced and original. The carbonation is lively, with a long medium bitter and sweet finish. Very interesting brew; worth a try! Top belgian tripel!

Nightfall (1263) - Hamburg, GERMANY - NOV 11, 2009
Had this on several occasions as it is quite popular in Greece and always thought it was an alias of LA Trappe as previously stated. Dark golden color with medium head. Sweet malty aromas and tast, lots of fruits. Always a pleasure to drink.

Bottle, 75cl corked, at Bier Central. An almost clear one, amber in color and with a two-finger, creamy, off-white head. Quite alcoholic one the nose, lots of ripe peaches, and a good dash of sugar. A hint of yeast and spices too. It’s sweet, fruity and with a touch of yeast. Quite warming, full body and pleasant carbonation. Lasting finish with a nice warmth and some bitterness. Too sweet and warming, but it suits it very well. 110429

Hazy golden beer with a frothy white head. Fruity slightly malty aroma dominated by hints of caramel, spices, belgian yeast and citrusy hops. Some earthy notes, some sulfur. Taste is heavy sweet, spicey and medium bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation average and finish is slightly astringent and bitter.

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of fruit, alcohol, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, hops, alcohol, fruits, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

(Bottle 33 cl) As "Dominus Tripel/Triple" made for Belgian beer importer/distributor John Martin. Pours a deep golden - fluid gold - with a rather subdued head. Quite full-bodied, lots of fruit with a distinct sweetness and a yeast edge. Warming alcohol in the finish. 300801

750 ml bottle @ Bier Central in Antwerpen. Slightly hazy golden body with a fine off-white head. Aroma is sweet, ripe fruit, spices and yeast. Flavor is quite robust and sweet fruity, yeast and spices. A bit strange in flavor, but I find it balanced and complex as a triple. Full body and long aftertaste.
