COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Jonge Bok is brewed from the newest barley harvest. The light and dark malt combination with carefully selected aromatic hops makes it fresh and full of character with a creamy head. Brewed from water, barley malts, unmalted grain, hop, caramel and sugar.

Light skunky nose. Brown color, light brown head (frothy not creamy), very good lace. Sweet (bit too sweet), hint of perfume, light caramel, a bit of roastiness in the back, nice hopbitterness, clean, not much complexity, medium body.

Dark Ruby red..Lacing A...foamy ring and some pooling...has a syrupy brandy quality...slight berry sherry taste, quite nice..complex as heck for a bock..quality monkey’s.

Bottle. Malty, peppery aroma. Clear dark chestnut colour. Big light brown head. Flavour is OK malty, but I do not care for the bitterness which is a bit harsh. Caramel used to darken the colour of the beer...

No no this is a commercial brew for the beer hype or the bock beer hype.

Typical bok appearance, (clear brown). Weak aroma, bit malty. Not as sweet as most other bocks, but very watery.

Light and clear brown color, medium frothy head. Aroma is quite weak, malty and a bit fruity raisin perhaps. I'll just copy the description of jbrus for the taste, it's quite good. Soft palate.

Malty aroma, bit fruity. It looks okay; nice head and a dark brown/red colour. Taste is superficial, malty and a bit bitter. Very sticky. Not great.

Malty aroma. Sweet, cake dough, raisin and milk. Rather bland with only a bit of bitterness and a hint of soap in the aftertaste. Some licorice, but the raisinny sweetness rules.
