2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
This beer has a dark brown body - hue apperance and a fine light brown scum collar. I have drunk the beer from the bottle and it had a lot of carbonic acid. The initial flavor taste is sweet with a sweet afther tast.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Not the worst Oud Bruin I’ve had. Fairly drinkable. Not as sickly sweet as some of this type can be, but thin tasting all the same.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Little bit skunky hop aroma and caramel. Brown color, light brown head, good lace. Sweet but certainly less than other Oud Bruin, caramel, sugar, medium body. I think I don't agree with the other raters of this beer. This is actually a good and more or less enjoyable example of the Oud Bruin type.

1.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
Typical dutch old brown style. 'Oud bruin' stands more or less for 'undrinkable'. It's always sweet and artificial. They're all drain poors. This one has the same problem. Not good.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Very sweet. Sugar and caramel. Watery, but the finish is clean. No chicken food aftertaste like many oud bruins have.

Why do many brewers even have this sort of beer in thei assortiment?
