On tap at Domus, called Nen Engel, ABV 8%. Dark amber-brown colour, off-white head. Aroma is sweet, dark fruits, forest fruits, sweet amber malts, light spice like aniseed/coreander. Flavour is sweet, spicy, light metallic, dark fruits and forest fruits, caramel, light tart, alcholic bitter finish with some spice. Medium-bodied.

Clear deep red brown beer, aery off-white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: yeast, spices, something rotten, star anise, cloves, dirty. This smells pretty bad. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: rotten fruits, jam, banana peel, yeasty, very unpleasant, completely off. This is really bad. I don’t know what went wrong, but they should have taken this keg out of the system.

Cuivrée/rubis, col fin beige.
Arôme est fruité noirs, léger en épice - kruiden - le tout reste assez faiblard.
Palais est moyen avec ce relent de fruits noirs, acétone ou alors possible trop d’épices. Profil reste très belge avec dans l’ensemble ce côté typique de malt carapils, dark fruité noir moyen.

On tap at Zythos, Brabanthal, Leuven, Belgium Saturday 28th April 2012 Pours murky brown in colour. Very, very sweet and with the addition of four bottles of port per barrel (so we were told by the man working the stall) this is very port heavy up front, actually throughout. Marginally better than the Grand Cru but again not one to get excited about. A6 A3 T6 P2 Ov11 2.8

Tap @ Kerstbierfestival 2011 in Essen (B). A clear light brown colored beer, with a beige head. The aroma of roasted malt with some caramel and fruits. The taste of caramel malt and fruits. The aftertaste is bitter with sweet.

Sampled at OBER Kerstbierfestival Essen 2011. Hazy amber color, small off-white head. Smell some rubber, smoke, skunk. Tastes the same. Average carbonation, low to medium body.

Holziger, stark gummiartiger Geruch. Ausgehöhlt malziger Antrunk, wässrig. Das Bier ist zwar etwas süß, ansonsten aber weiterhin nur oberflächlich malzig.

Kerstbierfestival, Essen Tap: Amber coloured not so good special brew from this pubbrewery, but its an rare find it so far from Inbev-ville.

Did not have a very remarkable taste. Was a bit malty and had a short afterlife.
