Yeasty, syrupy, roasted-malty aroma with a typical brewpub-oud-bruin feel. Syrupy-malty, lightly roasty flavor with low bitterness. Almost medium-bodied, low-carbonated palate. A stronger oud bruin, but not exactly a gourmet beer. yespr (5611), Copenhagen O, Denmark Dec 17, 2007 From tap, Kerstbierfestival 2007 in Essen/Belgium as Engel (nen). Pours hazy orange with a dense light yellow head. Mild caramel malt base with a mild brett note on top. Flavour is sweet malty with a mild lingering brett note. Very nice spice malt base. Quite nicely balanced. Ends with a nice bitterness lingering into the malt flavours.
