3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Domus definitely seems to be exceptionally good at producing beers with a full natural frothy head and a traditional unfiltered body, is this orange accented pale ale displays. Aroma seems a bit weaker and less appetizing for this one, smells of warm bready malt and sharp citrusy hops, strikes me as an odd combination. Taste is malty, some lemony yeasty notes, hoppy notes somewhere between grassy and herbal. Bitter but not as strongly hopped as other pale ales. Some spicy notes in the finish. Interestingly complex with several layers of taste, but I don't think the end result is ultimately enjoyable. Too dry of a texture as well, seems to contradict the juicy hoppiness. Lesser than the sum of it's parts, so to speak.

Its quite similar to an IPA but more refinated, less aroma and a more calibrated taste and not so sour aftertaste.

UPDATED: AUG 15, 2014 Débil aromáticamente para ser una apa. La espuma es abundante, algo jabonosa, muy agradable. Poca personalidad, la Aurea está mucho más conseguida.

UPDATED: JUN 30, 2013 Bottle: Thanks to Lowenbrau: Served in a Duvel glass: Last beer as I close the aftertasting of the RBESG’13 Grand Tasting alone deep in the night...
Opens with a big plop. Hazy amber pour. Explosively growing, big and vast, slowly changing, creamy white fiamy head on top of a murky dark orange colored beer.
Aroma is floral, some citrus, tangerine, hops, some roosvice, plastic and herbal hops.
Flavour has loads of floral tones, hop bitter, plant extracts, nettle, yeast, very light citrus and something light red ish fruit with a touch of malts.
Aftertaste is floral with herbs, hops, plants, bitter, yeast and light light light fruity.
Medium carbo, soft creamy mouthfeel, medium bidied and a creamy texture.
Strange floral IPA.

Cloudy dark amber color with giant rocky head. Some aroma of Belgian yeast, a bit spicy, light aroma of hops. Moderate flavor of malt and caramel, with too much carbonation, nice spicy character, light orangey touch, correct bitterness; initially there are some pleasant hop resins, but fading.
Less hopped than expected and promised; a mix of Belgian and American, a bit dirty.
