3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 JorisPPattyn (6730) - Antwerpen, - MAR 6, 2004
Hazy yellow, slightly greenish shine; yellowish head. Citrus nose, like grapefruit, grainy - not much really. Grainy and a taste as from vegetable oil (corngritsoil). Lots of restsugars. Spice & citrus in the aftertaste. Very grainy (its made with 3 grains, hence the name), and tasting a bit green. Not bad, with some ripening...
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 oberabcbbsok (685) - Hoboken, BELGIUM - APR 28, 2007
Tasted it at the Zythos festifal a good beer, no doubt about it. Minor breweries are really brewing good things
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Kåstå (1221) - Mol, BELGIUM - MAR 24, 2004
Blond beer with a small head. The taste is light sour and hoppy. There may be some coriander in there. On tap at the Zythos beer festival in Sint Niklaas.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Hildigöltur (5107) - København, DENMARK - MAR 16, 2004
[Draught] Hazy golden coloured. A quite one-dimensional brew. Rather yeasty and alcoholic.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Ungstrup (23967) - Oamaru, NEW ZEALAND - MAR 14, 2004
[ZBF 2004] The aroma is sweet yeasty with notes of coriander. The color is dark orange and it has a fine lazing though disappearing head. The flavor is rather complex on a sweet background it has notes of spices, peach, cloves, and corriander. The alcohol runs prickling over the tongue - a nice beer.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 diabel (1538) - Aarschot, BELGIUM - MAR 12, 2004
(This beer is called "BENGEL" in the Pub, but was called Trio at Zythos ZBF.) Blond, yellow, hazy body. Creamy head, mostly lasting and good lacing. Fruity and hoppy aroma (little bit gueuze-like). Neutral initial flavour, lightly bitter finish. Full mouthfeel.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 dirkbreedveld (286) - NETHERLANDS - MAR 10, 2004
this beer made of a trio of grains, was a very fresh beer, with tones more known to belgian whites. This brwer also likes hopbitters, because they top this beer nicely off with that in the aftertaste. Well made beer.
