Aroma and taste of malt and hops, on the whole thin in taste and to prominent alcohol in the finish.

Big bottle. Yellow pour, white head. Corn and apple cider aroma. Flavor is sweet. Lots of creamed corn and golden delicous apples. For sure not good, but a bit better than I was bracing for. Dah.

Bottle. Pours a pale gold body with a white head. Skunk y grain y apple aromatic character. Pale grains, metal, infection, and wet hay. Pale grain y body with hay and a light sweetness. Very adjunctive and lackluster to slightly offensive in the aroma. More or less what i was expecting.

From the instant the cap released its first scent, I knew this was going to be something special. Wet fox/skunk aromas burst forth as if the bottle was protecting itself from the opener. Perhaps some grain and herbal hops, but the no one else wants to go near the underside of the porch of this one. Golden color with a small lid on tiny bubbles and a decent sheet of lace. Quite sweet from the start. Grainy corn grits and light butter. Mild herbal components and a lot of metal creeping and and coating the tongue. Alcohol peeks its head in and adds a bit of sweetness and a mild flame. I can’t imagine placing a lime in this southern lager. Somewhat sticky in feel.

Green Bottle 500 ml
Appearance: Golden brew with medium-large frothy top, fine lace presented.
Nose : Light ,sweet , fresh hints of Lublin hops with clean malty side.
Flavor/Palate : Medium bodied lager . Decently developed malt base , alcohol perhaps on harsh side. Sadly finish was not as rich as frontal impressions.

Thanks Radekfor trying something adventuresome. Mostly cheesy aroma, with a tad of malts and hops. White head with lace. Rising carbonation bubbles inside of pale yellow. Watery mouthfeel. A bit drinkable. Sight is the only feature. .

Bottle @ Bistro Europa, Buffalo NY. Light Amber color with sweeter version of its lager. 6% versus 4.5%. Nothing offensive here. Easy drinking mild sweetness. OK

I had to buy this, just to see what they meant by "southern lager". Is there such a regional subtype in Russia? Golden-amber colour with delicate sparkle. Grassy, alcoholic nose with hints of grassiness. Smooth maltiness on the palate. Too much alcohol in the finish.

It had a pale golden color with light fluffy white head. It was very lightly carbonated, and went down very easily.

didn’t pour as skunky as the Don Original. the higher gravity seems to owe itself to adjunct. it has a sweet metalic flavor that reminds me of cheep malt liquor with some kind of solvent flavor. looked much better coming out of the bottle than it tasted.
