Courtesy of Skyview. Clear color. Very light pear aroma. A little strong in the taste. A pinch of sourness. Some unwashed pear rind.

Light gold color. Light pear and alcohol aroma. Flavor has some sweet pear, but this is way too hot. There is far too much alcohol, and it is in no way hidden. I didn’t know the abv was so high when I was drinking it, but I’m not surprised. With all of the alcohol, I found this nearly undrinkable.

Picked up a 750ml bottle from the winery near Egg Harbor, Wisconsin. Pours a still, almost clear perry liquid with a clear disk top and no bubbles. Aroma of light pears, with a hint of butter, some alcohol solvent, floral character with a touch of creme tartar. Taste is slightly acidic, a good balance of tartness and sweet pears, with a slight alcohol bite towards the finish. Finish has a mild tartness with some alcohol presence. Though it is 11 percent alcohol, it is very noticeable. A good substitute for chardonnay wine but with a little tartness.
