Aroma good malty profile. Proper approach of well lagered malts. Slight mineral with mild yet noticeable hop feel. Hints of ripe fruit with alcohol at end.
Appearance dark amber, slight haze , some garnet hue. Medium tanned , slightly creamy top. 3+
Flavor and Palate : medium full bodied. Malty, bready with good heft. I would not say that this is full 10%. Over all well presented doppel bock.

Bottle [12oz] shared with HogTownHarry, JoeMcPhee, Radek, jercraigs & mabel -- c/o JoeMcPhee. Pours a deep orange-amber with an average size lasting frothy tan head. Aroma of caramel malt, nuts, toffee, some light toastiness and brown sugar. Big flavour of caramel malt, toffee and burnt sugar. Alcohol is totally hidden. Average bodied. Pretty good.

2013-04-12. Crisp dark brown Body small beige head. 3+ Dusty malt aroma is mild. Flavour is sort of dry, relatively bitter. Not really to style? Wait 10% alcohol??? WTF?!? Alcohol is nearly non-existent on the palate. Average bodied palate is a bit light for the beer. Decent, but a bit mild overall. Bottle shared by JoeMcPhee

12oz bottle shared by joemcphee with me, mabel, jercraigs, radek and blankboy. Clear burnt copper, average diminishing fizzy/foamy beige head. Sweet, sryupy, herbal - nice, a little slick and harsh. Okay.

Gethinbeer (1822) - Musky, Nova Scotia, CANADA - FEB 8, 2013
Deep mahogany colour with a quick dissapating haeaf. Strong malt, sweet fruity syrup aroma. Strong malt flavour. Alcoholic notes. Bitter. A little harsh. It does smooth itself out. Harsh alcoholic finish.
