Bit fluffy, amber-tinted small head over foxy red-amber beer. Very fruity hops, with just a tad of human sweat, but generally smelling quite sweet, with sweet grapes, lychee, rosewater. Speculoos spices, sweet, overruling the C-hops. Somehow I suspect a lot of restsugars. Just the finish is a bit drier. Slightly sticky MF, light body, but quite slick. OK - the right hops. But whence all the near-syrupy malty sweetness? Fermented out?Bottle calls itself American Pale ale, BTW

Mild herber Beginn, süßlich, hefige Noten. Milder Hopfen, süffig, konstant. Kurzer Nachgeschmack. 9/10/9/8/9/9

Subtle floral aroma, with sour lemon notes. Pours a reddish caramel with a light tan quick dissipating head. Yeasty sour tastes of vegetables. Fizzy mouth feel with abrupt sour finish. Not doing it for me.

Dunkel bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit einer ordentlichen beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch getreidig, Honig, süß, so ist auch der Geschmack.

Ruby clear color with little foam. The smell is close to negligible (but my sense of smell is also rather negligible). The taste is very round and a little bit boring. Sweetish and a bit diffuse is a good description. A decent aftertaste. Very solid beer.

Nice amber color with small head. English hops, caramely, not overwhelming. Caramely taste, but not sweet, moderate well-balanced bitterness. Not a bad interpretation of the classic english amber ale style. A hint more carbonation than its English-style brothers. My favourite of the Chopfab series. But I also personally like amber stuff. Also a super price/performance ratio.

330ml served in tumbler glass. Nice bottle art. Silkscreened bottle. Pours a deep amber color. Big bubbled light yellow head. Good retention. Smells caramel and herby and grassy hops. Very hoppy. Slightly sweet malts in the upfront. Notes of caramel and dark fruits. In overall, a dry taste followed by intense hop bitterness punch. Light body. Good carbonation. Great drinkability. Enjoyable hoppy Amber Ale. [BA Review @ 7/1/2014]

UPDATED: DEC 8, 2014 Couleur brun-rouge; petite mousse beige; arôme de fruits rouge; goût fruité (pas trop sucré) et un peu houblonné; bon équilibre douceur-amertume
