Bottle from Amstein - clear blond color with a fast disappearing white head - Aroma is grassy, herbal and malty - malty, butter and popcorn - light body, light bitterness, good carbonation - something weird in the tast

Bottled 33cl. Quite clear appearance. DMS throughout. Herbal, grassy and buttery. Overrated in my opinion. I didn’t enjoy this beer.

(bottle) pours a clear deep golden colour with a frothy white head. aroma of cooked vegetables, resin and grass, with a hint of herbal hops, treebark and white pepper. flavour is mostly straw, caramel and strawberries, heavily leafy, with another light hint of butter and some more grass. medium-bodied with lively carbonation.

Rund, unkompliziert, angenehm.

Bottle from Erzbierschof, Bern, bb 03.2014, batch L000028
Blond color, clean, with medium head. Strange aroma, it has some malt, cereals, but also puckery vegetables; sausages; food-like mess. Dry mouthfeel, the flavor has no important malt traits, the bitterness is quite low, it has a shade of cereals and no grassy touch.
Confused.

Koelschtrinker (10479) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - NOV 8, 2013
Herber Beginn, leichte fruchtige Hopfigkeit. 6/8/9/7/7/7

duerrto (32) - - JUN 5, 2013
Bottled from Globus, Bern – Pours clear and golden. Complex aroma, somehow earthy and fruity, some hay. Aroma: A perfect combination of bitterness and a hint of sweetness, very smooth and round. A flawless drink with a long, grainy finish.

bartlebier (1640) - Belchum im Breisgau, GERMANY - MAY 10, 2013
33cl elegant minimalist bottle, merci Allen. - Beautifully clear golden ale with mild but inviting flowery aroma. Notes of both herbal and shy citrus hops, some grain and almond-flavoured malts. Pleasant smooth and rounded mouthfeel showing expertise and dedication. Might just as well pass as a premium pilsner?
