Buonina, nuova creazione del Doppio Malto Brewing Company; la spina era dietro e all’inizio non riuscivo a capire se ce l’avevano o no così ho domandato che è sempre una bella cosa domandare è lecito e rispondere è cortesia. Speziata non pesantemente

Birra che non convince. Colore rosato scuro e schiuma poco persistente. Odore forte sin da subito. In bocca appare molto speziata, ma troppo frizzante e dolce. Molto lieve il retrogusto amaro, quasi una via di mezzo tra un prosecco e un rosato...non il mio stile di birra.

[750ml bottle, courtesy of cgarvieuk] Dark golden pour, suspended particles floating around. Ginger and perfume on the nose. Soapy. Tastes like a bath bomb – very soapy. Ginger and wheat on the taste, but mostly ginger. Looks – and tastes – very strange [13012012]

In bottle. Pours a dark golden colour with lots of suspended ginger flecks and a thin white head. Lovely ginger aroma with caramel and yeast. Similar flavours with a little orange, wheat and caramel. Nice ginger bite with moderate carbonation and a foamy mouth-feel. A little soapy at the back.

On tap at BQ, Navigli, Milano. Golden with a small head. Highly spiced, slightly perfumey aroma and flavours. Good dryness, hints of pine. Overspiced, but quite original.

Hazy blond color. Aroma of ginger and lemon; more candies than beer. Correct body strength, the ginger gives a soapy and rosemary touch too (not very pleasant), and the bitterness seems too strong for this beer. Not my kind.

Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, light to moderate hoppy, citrus, moderate to light heavy spicy, ginger. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, spicy - peppery ginger. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100306]
