This beer isn’t great but if you can pick it up cheap it’s a good alternative to some of the big name domestic (USA) cheap beers. I would describe it as cheap Central American flavored. All in all good stuff.

Served from a 12 oz bottle while in Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala on the honeymoon cruise. The appearance is a crisp gold. The aromas and flavors are light malts and little else.

Boçttle. What the hell is that? After the Gallo and Cabro this beer is a real disappointment. It lacks everywhere of good points. The colour is yellow, it starts with a medium white head that disappears directly, there are no bubbles and this beer doesn’t see very enjoyable to drink. There is only a light grainy note noticeable in the smell and the beer doesn’t have a taste and is only watery. After a while a light graint note is slightly noticeable.

The aroma is sour with corn and adjuncts with a touch of funk. The appearance is very pale gold with an average head. The flavor is like the aroma with a sulfur like finish. The palate is thin. Overall this is not a beer you want.

Bottled. Clear golden, brief head. Neutral aroma. Medium sweet with clean, hard mouthfeel. Some faint corn and fruitiness, then nothing. No bitterness.

Another similar tasting brew compared to the other guat brews. Pours dark golden, big head this time but quickly loses it. Refreihng, but leaves a dirty taste in the mout.
