Bottle Golden yellow colour. Bit malty aroma with bit fruity hops. Bit waterish smooth flavour of malt. Noy much about it really but goes down easy.

hopscotch (7532) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - APR 7, 2007
Bottle... AWOL... Clear, light yellow lager with a small, fizzy, white head. Grainy, herbal aroma. Sweet, pale malt flavor balanced nicely by soft, mineral bitterness. Medium-bodied with a skim-milk mouthfeel and middling carbonation. Stale finish. Thus concludes A Week of Lagers!... thank God

Bov (7364) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - SEP 27, 2002
clear pale yellow colour, fine head, nice lace, light notes of orange and peanuts in the nose, medium-bodied, smooth and quite netral flavour - an honest beer

Cornfield (5277) - Oak Forest, Illinois, USA - FEB 5, 2006
Very, very pale yellow but with heavy beading, a creamy sustained head, and solid lacing. Very faint malt aroma with a light flavor of sugary sweet malts and a suggestion of earthy hops in the finish.

The aroma is sour with corn and adjuncts with a touch of funk. The appearance is very pale gold with an average head. The flavor is like the aroma with a sulfur like finish. The palate is thin. Overall this is not a beer you want.

In the clear bottle. YUCK! This tasted like Pepe LePew crawled into the bottle and took a dump. So incredibly skunky that it could not be finished. Danger Will Robinson! Stay away from the clear bottled Central and South American beers. Nice lacing, though. A visually pretty beer.

Aurelius (3145) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - MAR 18, 2003
Straw/grainy malt aroma with some smokey wisps. Flavor is characteristic of malty Central American/Caribbean pilslagers, but lighter. Slightly tart, mildly sweet, malt-grainy. Side-of-the-tongue lager twang and a little clingy in the palate. I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised by this beer, it was pretty skunky on opening, but that dissipated rapidly. Bad appearance marks for a crappy label, twist off cap, clear bottle and pale beer -- which also had me fearing the worst. Just above midline.

UPDATED: JAN 31, 2006 Good!, It said Gallo, but I know gallo and it wasn’t, but it had the sublabel whic said Draft, and the alcohol percentage fits. So, it tastes like a Modelo especial but lighter, it is ok.
