COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask: Regular.
A new gold bitter that is absolutely full of flavour. It is a perfect session beer, easy to drink, refreshing, tasty with a great flavour - and bouquet (as wine drinkers would say) and with only 3.8% volume. This beer has been brewed after much development, tasting and consumer research, made up from panels representing the whole spectrum of beer drinkers. The result is something really quite special.

Cask handpull at Reading BF 2010. Gold/copper colour slight haze, lasting off white head. Aroma of dry hopping, good hop flavours. Very green hop, bit watery in mouth. Doesn’t back up the very big hop. Shame as this could be good. Great hops though.

JDW, Greenwich. Light, easy drinking beer. A bit largerish and unadventurous, but OK.

BeerViking (1053) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 28, 2010

Cask/handpump at the Sir Michael Balcon (JDW Ealing). Served through a swan-neck but with the sparkler removed on request. Poured a slightly reddish gold with almost no head, as a result. Possibly a bit too cold? Lemony and grassy hops on the nose, a big dry hoppy and slightly floral grassy punch on the palate, and a long grapefruity bitter finish.
