4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 77ships (2239) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - APR 6, 2013
375 ml @ Antwaerps Bierhuiske. Traditional green bottle / lovely design in tune with their other standard offerings. Pours a dark red hued amber with a quickly diminishing white head / only a patchy film remains. Smell is full of other grains, their profile, spelt, rye, full grain bread, spices and caramel sweetness,… Taste is sweet other grainsm rye, spelt, lots of spices, alcohol, marinated dark fruits, grains, malts, touch boozy, caramel and some hops,… Rather full, lively carb. I am digging this much like their standard line-up.

375 bottle. Caramel and brown sugar with a musty spicy aroma. Pours an orange amber with a very thick white head. Caramel with a farmy musty flavor with hints of grains of paradise and nutmeg. Very carbonated and finishes extremely dry! Excellent

Bottle, bought @ Alvinne Beershop.
Deep ruby rhubarb red with a firm, staying, frothy, off-white head. Lovely sweet aroma with a whole lot of caramel, some almonds, light red apple, some overripe nectarine, winegums and flowery notes. High, prickly carbonation, dry and light creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is malty, caramel, biscuits, red apple, white pepper. Lingering, sharp bitter finish with flowery and fruity notes. Exqusite.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 EricE (1368) - Silver Spring, Maryland, USA - JUN 6, 2010
Bottle from State Line. Cork popped off after loosening the cage. A ton of carbonation. Pours a very hazy, almost opaque light brown. Lots of bubbles. Topped by a fluffy white head. Some crap floating around. Aroma dominated by yeast . Funky, earthy, and dusty with notes of citrus peel, slightly floral. A bit of sweetness when the beer first hits the tongue but quickly overwhelmed by a dry earthy flavor. Herbal and earthy. Very bitter hop finish. Nice, very enjoyable farmhouse.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Boutip (4031) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - APR 22, 2011
Bottle: Poured a super hazy dark beige color ale with a super huge off-white foamy head with perfect retention and excellent lacing. Aroma of rustic Belgian malt notes with light barnyard notes and funky ester. Taste is a very nice mix between some rustic Belgian malt notes with funky yeast ester and light barnyard notes. Body is extremely full with limited filtration and great carbonation. Very complex beer with nice artisanal touch and rough edge not removed.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 sayravai (4654) - Helsinki, FINLAND - OCT 24, 2010
(Bottled, 0.375l) Very loud pop, like in the Blond, but surprisingly no gushing. Huge head, though. Caramely-leathery malt, barnyard, pepper. Are they using Dupont or Fantôme yeast, or how is this possible?? Flavor is caramely with pale maltiness and some smooth alcohol presence. Much like the Blond, except with added caramel, and toned down hop crispness. Both are excellent in their own way, but the Blond would have got more points without gushing. 5456

Tap, 20 cl @ Zythos festival, St Niklaas. Orange coloured beer, with medium white creamy and lacing head. Smell is hoppy, spicy, light sweet and malty. Taste is at first a full malty, spicy, lught sweet taste, but the best is yet to come in the very subtle aftertaste, which is in one word fantastic: a soft and subtle fruity and malty aftertaste rolling nicely over the tongue. Don’t understand the low ratings. This is not the best beer ever, as this is the most special/best beer I drunk @ Zythos beer festival, a beer close to the real top of best beers.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 brainlair (236) - Maryland, USA - JUN 6, 2010
375mL bottle, courtesy of erice, picked up at State Line Liquors, MD. I loosened the cage, and... BOOM! Luckily I had my and over it and an empty glass, picked up a glass full of foam to start. Very, very cloudy opaque golden amber with a huge head. Smells like a saison, with lots of yeast, citrus, and herbal hops. Taste is quite herbal, with spearmint and cloves, medium sweetness, and a lot of yeast, as well as some banana and apple. Strong flavors, but they balance pretty well. Finish has some oranges, alcohol, herbal bitterness, and a touch of mint. But come on guys, a little less carbonation.

Amber coloured beer with small white head and only few carbonation. Fruity spiced aroma with malty hints. Full sparkling bit creamy palate. Finish is rather dry spicy bitter.
