Bottle - 12.7 ounce - corked and caged. Amber pour with a tall, foamy tan head. Strong dusty yeast aroma with fresh flowers, soft spice, dried fruit and light caramel. Taste is sweet malt, ripe fruits, dusty yeast, grass, flowers, light spice and wet wood. Body is medium with a strong, effervescent carbonation. Finishes with more big yeast notes, soft grains, sweet malt, light spice, dried fruit (maybe more a trail mix?), grassy notes and flowers.

37.5 cL bottle. Pours hazy dark orange to amber with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, slight spiced and light malty. Sweet caramelish malty, light fruity and light peppery yeasty. Mild dryness and toasted malty. Rather carbonated - yet smooth. Lingering fruity.

Bottle, pours a hazy amber bruin body with a huge exploding off white head. Spicy yeast tones with floral, grass and dusty hop tones. Fairly malty with a dank malt body. Grassy with a drying finish.

Bottle 375ml.

Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, perfume, shoe polish - leather, overriped fruit. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20101119]

Rich cloudy amber with a huge head. This is way over carbonated for me. The cork blew off and hit me in the head the moment I took the cage off. That said, the aroma is fruity and yeasty, nicely sour. The flavor is sour with a nice malt presence and a hop end. Very cleansing due the the fizz. A bit of booze warms the throat. Knock down the fizz a bit and this would get a 4.

Draft at redlight. Pours a clear amber brown with a sudsy white head. Nose is first sweet caramel malts, light lemon, spices, some grass and funky yeasts. Flavor follows nose pretty closely but not a sweet as the nose would lead you to believe. Sweetness on the back end and finishing dry. It’s different but tasty.

(375ml bottle from Total Wine Desert Ridge). Pours hazy orange color with nice fluffy off-white head. Moderate carbonation. Aroma of dried pit fruit, lemon, spice, and hay. Taste is sweet with some light bitterness. Fruits come through as well. Medium bodied with a slick texture. A bit fizzy. Finish is slightly bitter. A decent beer, but not sure I’d actively search it out again because of cost/other great beers out there.
