Aroma is rich on wheat, some yeast and fruits. Flavour is also rich and wheaty with fruits and some yeast. Typical and good Saison, reminds me of Avec les Bons Vœux.

Bottle from Whole Foods on P Street NW. Served in a Mikasa tulip. Pours a cloudy light copper with a thick head and some nice spotty lacing. Good cap throughout. The nose brings earth and light spice plus some backing grain and hay. Flavor adds a bit of bitterness and a nice dryness. Light pepper and just a bit of fruit. Light-medium body with high carbonation. All around a very nice saison. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Golden pour. Lots of Barnyard and Sweet Malts. Grainy finish and a little too sweet overall.

Pizzeria Paradiso, Alexandria 12oz ($10): Pours an orange color with a big white head. Aroma is of saison yeast, fruitiness, and a bit of malt. Taste is nice and dry. Somewhat sweet, but not really. High alcohol is well-covered, as this drinks like a pretty light beer. Well-balanced and drinkable.

Gedronken bij André (dutchdrebus) samen met René (benzai), het is geel/oranje gekleurd, helder. Ruikt fruitig, beetje zuur. Smaakt gewoontjes

37,5cl bottle shared with Dutchdrebus and Ansjelaah. Hazy golden color, big white head. Smell malts, lightly yeasty, slightly bitter. Taste malts, some bitter, something weird. Don’t really like it. High carbo, medium body.

UPDATED: MAR 5, 2012 375ml. Went off like a GUN and I’m not exaggerating. Could have taken my eyeball out. Woke the missus up and she doesn’t even sleep in the same wing of the house as me. Beer’s well-behaved, streaming gold with a fine haze and slim white head. Juicy aroma; wine gums, parsley-like properties, mosquito repellent, Drie Fonteinen. Over-fizzed but with an enticing, fresh, peppery Belgian thing going on; G+T with coriander, Pimms with mint, zest and herbs, farmyard and flowers. Biscuit malt base deep below. Like Brugse Zot turned up to a 9 and carbonated like a handgrenade. Fine beer, if dangerous.

Dark golden color with a large white head. Aroma contains some citrus, spices, and sweet potatoes. The flavor has some sweet, potatoes, brown sugar, citrus, and some pepper spice. The aftertaste is slightly sweet but more sour. Overall different but still pretty good.
