Pours a dark unfiltered, hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is of chocolate, caramel, honey, molasses, syrup, and dark stone fruit. Tastes of sweet malt, sugar, honey, caramel, cocoa nibs, and its very thick and coats your mouth. Nice beer.

Brown color with brown head. nose: has some iron, malt, dark malts, yeast, bit earthy, chocolate powder. returns in the taste too, cacao, bit sweaty, metallic. Has a sour, bitter, hoppy ending. Bit liqueurish. I do not fully appreciate the sourness here.

Aroma of grainy caramel and gamey hops. Medium brown color, headless. Mildly sweet dark fruit flavor, plums and currants, and a side of spicy yeast. Kind of a lightweight, some alcohol zing. Malt profile is a bit off for a mid-weight dubbel, but its in that range.
