6 dollar 375ml bottle at the Malt House for Beer Week. Murky, chunky brown, a hint of orange. Massive effervescence, huge steady chunky beige head. A fantastic Belgian Dark Ale, a little more effervescent and floral than a typical Bruin/Dubbel..maybe just fresher. Super yeasty, pungent chocolate meets dark fruit, with a light, fluffy mouthfeel. One the best new Belgian breweries for sure. World Class.

37,5cl bottle. A huge explosion of CO2 when I opened the bottle. Dark brown colored beer; very well carbonated. Aroma of dark malts, prums, yeast and some tartness. A lot of yeast floating in the beer. Very well balanced beer. Taste: prums, dark malts, slightly herbal. Very digestable. A good beer.

Hazy darker brown coloured beer with some yeasty particles floating. In addition the bottle bursted when uncorcking. Lots of carb releasing. Medium to small brown head. Very special herby hnted aroma. Touches of yeasts and suggars. Full palate. Finish is strong spicy and sweet malty touches with strong yeasty hints. Good.

Color mogano scuro con bella schiuma compatta e persistente. Al naso sentore leggero cioccolatoso. In bocca invece un pò deluso, ancora cacao e leggere spezie, e palato non convinto...

Hazy dark, not stable creamy head. Malty nose. Medium bitter, bready taste, high carbonation. Liquorice, fruity bonbons, clove and cinnamon on palate. Shors rather sweet finish. B@BF.

Gusher. Really cloudy dark brown beer, big beige head, unstable, adhesive. Aroma: caramel, mocha, bready yeast, toast, nuts, milk chocolate. MF: lots of carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet malts, sugar, mocha, milk chocolate, honey, little bitter, some grapefruit. Aftertaste: mocha, some chocolate, caramel, bitter orange peel. Alcohol is warming the throat. I think by the expiry date, the alcohol has gone up quite a bit.
