Kolor: miedziany z lekk? mgie?k?, piana bia?a, wysoka, g?sta i trwa?a. Aromat: s?odowy, s?odkawy, owoce, cykoria na granicy wyczuwalno?ci, troch? akcentów ziemistych. Smak: pierwszy ?yk i od razu alkohol, pó?niej s?odowo??, nieco owocowo, ziemia, kurz. Cykorii niestety brak.

@bartlebier’s weird beer tasting/Bierhandlung/Mai16; partly due to my scrawly notes, partly due to not being able to pin down the components of this extraordinary taste profile, I just can say this beer is one of my favorites. Surely not for its damp cellar and horses-in-the-rain aromas, although they play a certain role. Also not really for its onset of nicely spiced Leberwurst with some lactic and barnyard hints. There’s just more to it.

37cl bottle, quite explosive! Light hazy gold, coarse rich cream head. Bread crumb, brown sugar, Belgian yeasts, white wine like prosecco, fruity, apricot melon peach. Dry sweet taste, fruity and rich, well balanced.

33cl bottle. Golden pale colour, with an impressively tall white head with very good retention. Smells like Belgian yeast, bananas, spices and lambic sourness without the funk. Tastes sweet and a bit bitter, with notes of bananas, freshly baked bread and a hint of sauvignon blanc. Smooth and velvety mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
