Odore non molto invasivo, ma gusto splendido. Tipica birra belga. Favolosa. Intéressante farla riposare un po in cantina.

Bottle 37,5 purchased in Leuven. Pours light amber with a one finger clear ivory foam which quickly goes away leaving a lace. Nose of banana, yeast and malty notes. Something weird in the carbonation; it tastes a bit anonymous: Belgian yeast, wit feel but everything in a very low perception. Bitter finish and some sourness. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aangename afdronk. Drinkt lekker weg. Lekker biertje.

Bottle from ABS drinks. Hazy peach amber color with rocky off white foam, quite pretty actually. Aroma of intense banana, spicy, clove, something close to cloves but that isn’t quite it, very spicy. Taste is sweet and spicy, lots of wheaty malt sweetness, banana, again a strong spicy finish. Palate is medium to full bodied with medium carbonation. Not that good.

I’m a huge fan of witlof / chicon so I had big expectations that were deceived as I found no real witlof taste. Otherwise it’s of course a good beer, but not what it says on the bottle...

375ml bottle. Pours a hazy dark orange with a small head. Aroma is spritzy lemon and farmhouse yeast. Taste is yeasty lemon to start and coffee and dark berries on the finish.

Definitely an unusual beer. It took me a few sips to get over the bitter tartness. But it does have a rather pleasant thick feel, with bitter, long finish. Lightly sour, very bitter.

Bottle @home. Pours amber with a nice white, bit adhesive head. Aroma : a bit chicory, citrus, yeast. Taste : medium bitterness with just a hint of chicory, dry finish. I wouldn’t mind the chicory flavor to be a bit more present. Nice beer.
