Explosive opening, cork to the ceiling, almost lost an eye! 1st pour : nose is alcohol, yeast, acetic. Golden color with sediment, carbonation. Taste like beer with alcohol added to it, cork taste. Full body and plenty of residual sugar. 2nd pour : Cloudy, more sediment in suspension, appearance still ok. Nose of vegetable. Extreme carbonation, so fizzy it’s impossible to drink. Ended up in the sink. Anyway, who would want to put French endives in a beer!

Bought a small bottle as "Hof ten Dormaal’s "Winter ’11"" at the Whole Foods Bowery story, in the 12% importers section. This is nice and tasty. Deep hazed gold, huge foamy head, Musky, Brett aromas of strong yeast and malt, with some souring hop backing. Smoothest finish, warming and very tasty. Banana, clove, holiday spices. Rich, lactic, raw. Totally awesome.

Nice experiment to use witloof in this beer, but there is no specific witloof taste. The beer has a blond, amber colour, white foam. Earthy taste: bitter and the taste of herbs. Nice brew.

Corked bottle from Beer Planet, Brussels
Cloudy amber color, with compact medium sized head. Some aroma (or smell) of vegetables, yeast, bread. Highly carbonated therefore the mouthfeel is good; but probably there has been a refermentation, that produced some off flavors, among which some vegetables; correct bitterness.
Drinkable, but doubted.

Bottled, thanks fiulijn! Cloudy deepm golden, lively head. Fruity spicy nose with some vinous notes. Mid sweet, medium bodied with spritzy mouthfeel. Alcohol heat and mild unusual spicyness. Long bitter finish.

Clear golden body with a white rocky head. Aroma of grass, citruis, flowers ... well balanced and interestingly complex. Moderately bitter flavour. Soft mouthfeel, well drinkable but does not live up to the expectations created by the aroma. Nice one though.

Smells of apple sauce, tastes of bitter apples and hints of clove and cinnamon. Dull gold in color. 14$ @ SHIndy worth a try. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

375 c&c - probably from Bine and Vine. Supercharged. Cork hit a 12’ ceiling. Pours hazy orange with a good creamy white head. It has an oddly farmhouse aroma. Med body. flavor is herby and very earthy. Has a light pepper spice in the earthy finish.
