12.7 oz bottle. Floral and grapefruit on the nose. Flavor has a bit too much pepper in for me. Not over the top but a little much for me. Not a bad beer but not my thing.

Bottle shared by MrPickles...thanks Andy! - Pours golden amber with a nice foamy off-white head. Light white peppery nose, subtle tropical fruit, and some spicy yeast. A bit doughy. Kind of an odd rotting fruit note in the taste, as if a mango is really overripe. Pepper comes in real strong through the finish too, and the dough/yeast component is enhanced. It’s as if everything on the smell is just amplified in the taste. Bitter grassiness on the long finish. The taste was a little much for me, but overall unique enough to keep my interest.

375 ml dark green bottle, at local tasting, as Hof ten Doormal Wit Goud Witloofbier. ABV is 8%. Cloudy orange colour, moderate head. Wheaty aroma with notes of spices, nice. Medium sweet wheaty and spicy flavour, the alcohol is noticeable.

Tap at Max’s. Pours lightly hazy orange with a medium, frothy white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is fruity esters, cookie and biscuit malt with earthy yeast. Flavor is malt forward with spices, fruity esters, light hops and bitterness with a dry finish. Medium body, warmth and carbonation.

(Bottled, 0.375l) Hazy golden with a largeish, cloudy head. Delicious, freshly hoppy nose with Belgian yeast and pale maltiness, brings Saison Dupont into mind instantly. Flavor is also crisply herby-hoppy with lots of yeast fruitiness and some alcohol burn before pouring the yeast. Medium body, quite foamy CO2. Very nice, saisony strong ale, but could show a bit less alcohol. 4545

375ml bottle, as Winter 11. Hazy golden tan, pungent funky aroma, very fresh, world class. Creamy, yeast, very well balanced. Excellently drinkable for the ABV. Truly exceptional, a treat for Madtown. Golden Ale with more depth.

A solid spicy mix of a saison and a wit, nicely grassy character, not amazing but certainly fine enough.

Cloudy golden orange colour with a tight white head. The aroma has a nice bit of peppery character along with a soft wheaty bite. Some light floral hop notes in addition to a bit of light fruit. Melon and some clove along with a bit of lingering wheaty character. Slightly bitter with a touch of mint on the back. It’s pretty nice stuff.
