Smells and tastes somewhat like a Belgian tripel beer. Not as bitter as one would expect.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle from Bruisin’ Ales in Asheville. Pours a dark gold with a greenish-brown tint and a huge--huge--white head. The second half of the bottle is super cloudy with big chunks. Nose is grassy and grainy and tree barkish. Bitter smelling and earthy. A bit dusty. Some figs perhaps. Taste is similar with added bitterness and a dry finish. A bit thin. Pretty good, but certainly not worth the price we pay over here.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle, bought @ Etregourmet.
Light hazy orange-amber with a medium, staying, frothy, off-white head. Aroma is elegantly sweet, some wheat, oats, mild vinious, apples, light vanilla. Medium to high carbonation, oily and light grainy mouthfeel. Flavour is quite vinious, sweet wheat, apple peel zest. Grainy wheat sweetness and a mild citric bitter touch to the finish. Okay beer, quite drinkable for the ABV. But really, I’d rather have a good wit.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
37,5 cl bottle @ Gastropub Tuulensuu, BBE 04/2012
Fresh, soapy aroma has a lot of citrus. Actually this smells a lot like citrus-flavoured liquid hand soap. A lot of citrus in the taste and some coriander with other spices too. Kind of reminds me about Mikkeller Not Just Another Wit, but this is less hoppy. Just like that, I would call this an imperial wit. Good one but the aftertaste is a bit sticky and a bit too bitter though.

375 ml bottle @ Gastropub Tuulensuu, Tampere.
Pours a hazy yellow colour with a very large, foamy head which collapses slowly. Lots of sediment on the bottom. Aroma of toffee, floral hops and spices. Flavour of floral hops, sweet fruits such as banana, wheat, citrus and caramel malts. Warming, fruity, light spicy finish. Alcohol warms nicely. Pleasant.

380ml bottle shared @ Gastropub Tuulensuu
Pours orange with a massive head. Aroma reminds me of a blonde and has notes of fruits, spices and yeast. Taste is also not very wit-like with notes of fruits, spices and slightly hops. Smooth, slightly sticky finish. Good.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Beer Mania. First cork to pop on me in awhile, into the kitchen wall. Nose of sweet fruits and plenty of chickory. Taste is sweet, malty and lots of spices, including of course chickory. Quite enjoyable. Very nice crisp taste to it and plenty of alcoholic.
