Bottle, shared with GT2 and nuplastikk, as Winter 11. Murky golden color. Aroma of rising rye bread dough. Taste is chewy pumpernickel and light spice. Very nice!

375mL thanks to Travlr. Pours a hazy peach with a thick, thinner, egg nog head. Nice retention and decent sticky lace. Nose is estery with skunked hops like Saison Dupont. Mild flowers and citrus peel. Taste is also similar to Saison Dupont. Thick maltiness and mild orange with oatmeal and spicy hops. Light biscuit quality. Pillowy, soft mouthfeel. Quenching, spicy. Not bad. Seems to be a Saison Dupont clone.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Kiya. Cork poped again, but I caught it in a towel. Very fragrant, herbal aroma, grass, citrus, peach, a bit of apple. Warm and malty, some bread. Deep gold, closing in on amber, withna high, fine head. Wheat malt flavor, citrus, swet orange, good tang, bread, herbal. Slightly spicy, but not overdone. High carbonation, but rather soft, full body. Decent. A bit too sweet and spicy, but good.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Medium vast white head on top of a hazy darker orange colored beer.
Smell yeast, hint of fruit, hint of vegetables, some herbs and malts.
Taste malts, caramel, fruit, honey, some spices, hint of alcohol,
Yeasty fruity bitter aftertaste.
Low carbo, soft almost silky mouthfeel with a light tingle, good medium to a lightly fuller body and a creamy texture.
Typical yeasty belgian brew but better balanced than a lot of those other belgian yeasty brews.

375ml Bottle: Aroma of malt, hops, Belgian yeast, grass, Earth, slight spice, and a hint of fruit. Poured amber/orange/flaxen in color with a medium-sized, creamy, dense, off-white head that diminished but lasted throughout. Cloudy. Very sparkling. Full of small and medium-sized particles throughout. Flavor is lightly sweet and light to medium bitter. Tastes of malt, Belgian yeast, hops, slight apple, slight fruit, light spice, light grass, light clove, and slight pepper. Medium body. Tingly, slightly chalky, then dry texture. Average to lively carbonation. Malt, Belgian yeast, hop, grass, spice, pepper clove, finish is dry. 8%ABV is completely hidden throughout.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cloudy gold beer with thick white head. Aroma of malts, touches of bitter chicory and what seems like fusel alcohols. Bittersweet malt/chicory taste, light tartness. Again some fusel tones. Not bad, but a bit messy. Feels like it could’ve been better.

37,5cl bottle received as gift. Cork was under pressure. Pours light amber and hazy, head disappears quickly, leaving only a little bit (which was probably my mistake). Clear bittersweet chicory aroma. Carbonation is average, a little more lively might have been nicer. Taste also bittersweet, some citrus, good balance for something called ’witloofbier’ (chicory beer). A long and very nice aftertaste remains. Good pick!
