Cask@Melton Beer Festival, 2010. Bronze beer with a mildly bitter aroma, the flavour is roasted and bitter. Overall a fairly average bitter.

Cask, Melton Feat 10. Hazy Amber with a thin foam. Aromas are toffee with earthy hops. Lightly floral with citrus, caramel with some medicinal notes. Flavours are fruity malts with herbal notes. Toffee with dark honey sweetness. Decent.

Golden coloured and fruity with a hint of dryness in a lasting malt finish.

Hazy light amber color. There is a light aroma of caramel and fruity hops. Medium body strength, strong toffee flavor, medium sweetness, with a powerful hopping, lightly fruity too. Robust Bitter, very good.

Light golden orange colour., light fruit , bitter hop front with hoppy bitterness.

Cask-conditioned at the Inn on the Green, Bristol. Amber coloured with slight head. This was an enjoyable bitter, with floral hops in the aroma and some fruity flavour. The dry finish was particularly memorable. Enjoyable.

Cask (handpump) at a DBC stall, Weymouth Seafood festival, Brewers Quay, Weymouth. Served by the head honcho, Giles Smeath, himself. Plenty of hops come through in this accomplished, copper coloured, session bitter. Curiously, in spite of the hops used, although there is a slight citric feel, the overall impression is dry and earthy in a traditional English bitter style. Nonetheless, this is a tasty and satisfying session bitter.
