500ml; in a shaker pint . Low Boost ESB tim . Spicy hop nose that showcases marmalade ..cake like rich malts , soil and earth covered caramel. Deep orange with a good rocky foamed head . Lots of malty accents , quit dry and refreshing . notes of caramel, bread , spicy citrusy hops , dried sultana finish. A pretty respectable bottled ESB.

Cask poured at Wetherspoon in Broadstone Poole, lovely caramel colour with creamy head, sweet raisiny, rich and bold, smooth with a slight bitter finish, great pint for a blowy autumn day.

Cask at Back of Beyond, Reading. Deep amber with a small off-white head. Caramel and butterscotch and too much diacetyl. A little fruitiness and a decent earthy bitterness doesn?t make up for the rest. Not great.

Bottled. Clear, with a deep ruby, copper colour and a minimal off-white head. Very malty aromas with dried fruit. Dry hop flavours balance the malty backbone. Not bad.

Cask at moon under water jdw. Amber coloured pour with a lasting cream head. Aroma is earthy and light lemon zest with nutty malt. Flavour is semi sweet caramel, metallic bitterness. Some hedgerow berry fruits. Solid bitterness lingers. Palate is medium thin and lowish carb.
