Cask; clear copper, no head; initial malty sweetness leads to citrus fruit and much bitterness in the taste and dry finish; fresh, smooth mouthfeel, fairly low carbonation; perhaps a tad too astringent for my liking, but a very reasonable bitter nonetheless.

Light orange-yellow coloured beer with a thin white head. Initially malty nose, with a sweet fruit note and a hint of honey. Bitter flavour, dry roasted malt and a hint of fruity hop, the sweetness gives it a honey like taste. Bitter in the finish.

Cask @ Muckle Cross, Elgin.
Amber brown, clear, frothy white head, good lacing.
Aroma - hint of caramel malt and some faint grassy hops.
Taste of caramel malt, fruity, bitter grassy hop, bit spicy.
Palate - soft carb, finish of moderate bitter hop and light citrus tang that slowly fades.
Not a bad bitter. Just OK.

Bottle. Dirty amber with a small off-white head. Aroma has lemon, honey, butterscotch, biscuits. Rather thin. Biscuity malt, mild butterscotch, honey, lemon, a little earth and spice. Much more than a suggestion of honey. Decent citrus bitterness at the end. A little muddled but quite refreshing.
