3.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Cask at Prince of Wales, Farnborough. Feint floral aroma, with a hint of vinegar (but not a negative). Slightly hazy copper gold (pape copper as per description), but not much of a head. Bitter, I’d say not quite medium. Light bodied flat. Soft mouthfeel, even if a tad watery. Oily mouthfeel in the finish. Burnt caramel. Not the most interesting beer, but it a is a decent pint. Just ’nice’.

Cask - Fat Cat & Canary, Norwich. Pourd with a doming, lacy & lasting light tan to beige head on top of a dark, clear amber body. Good perfumy mid fruits & toasted, lightly roasty malts. Sweet with a decent hop & mid malt bitter bite. Light to medium body, softish palate texture & a lingering, dryish bittersweet finish.
