Rafraichissante, fruitée et descend comme du bon lait. Trashy design, but angel taste...

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask@GBBF 2011. Golden colour, with a small white head. Aroma is clean maltiness along with some floral, fruity and a bit wooden notes. Flavour is bready malts, some fruity and floral hoppy notes along with mild wooden and resiny notes in the finish. Surprisingly high abv, although it feels much easier when you drink it.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
50cl bottle from Naked Grape, Alresford. Amber with a ring of white head; floral aroma; cidery flavour, as if made from some sweetly perfumed dessert apples; then some meadow hay giving a gentle bitterness and a dry finish with a touch of rasping alcohol. Rather unbalanced.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle at the Half Moon, Windlesham - 03/09/12.
Pale golden with a thinnish white head that retained pretty well resulting in lots of lacing.
Pale malt nose backed up by grain, wheat, grass and some spice.
Taste matches the nose, hops come into play which to me tasted of the noble variety.
Medium bodied with fairly lively carbonation, perhaps a touch too much, leading to a dry finish.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On at the Euston Tap, wasn’t overly impressed, fairly standard Golden Ale, more likely to appeal to converted lager drinkers. Not enough hops for my palate.

Cask; straw-coloured, a bit hazy; malty, with a fairly sweet, honeyed flavour although never sickly; some citrussy hops and quite a bitter finish; this all worked pretty well for me.
