2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 harrisoni (11023) - Ashford, Kent, ENGLAND - FEB 5, 2007
Cask gravity at White Cliffs BF 2007. Hazy. Ruby colour with thin beige ehad. Bit of diacetyl maybe. Some toffee in mouth. Bit sour. Not great and a poor beer in this condition.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 JonMoore (1581) - Loughborough, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - SEP 8, 2006
Bottle. Dark amber colour with a slim off-white head. Aroma of caramel, crystal malts and chocolate. Quite sweet and malty tasting, some fruit. Medium bodied. Not sure what the wheat is cotributing, but nice nontheless.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 johninmelb (1032) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - MAY 8, 2006
Bottle. I have deliberately selected the exact middle for every rating criteria because I really can’t find anything in this beer. It doesn’t impress, but it doesn’t offend. It gives nothing of itself - I could chug a few down efficiently with the alcohol percentage for a big night on the razz, but that’s not really what I’m looking for. And another thing - wheat?
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Jeppe (2631) - Ølbutikken, DENMARK - MAR 1, 2005
Sampled from cask (gravity dispense) at 6th Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival 2005. Hazy dark amber colored with almost no head. Quite full and sweet caramelly aroma with greassy tones and chocolate hints. Sharp fruity flavor with a rather unpleasant oily ethanol tone. Sticky on the palate.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Garrat (1249) - Suffolk, ENGLAND - FEB 13, 2005

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 chriso (7254) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 25, 2005
Mid brown colour. There’s a lot of malt in the aroma, but it seems a little raw and underdeveloped. That might be more down to the conditioning than the underlying beer. Sweetish flavour, with more malt and some sherry-like vinous character. Medium bodied. Better balanced on the palate than the nose. Cask (gravity dispense) at Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival 2005.
