imdownthepub (7473) - Banbury, - JUN 21, 2010
Bottle conditioned, 500ml from Phoenix Wines, Swanage, Dorset. Slightly muddy brown with no head. Not the greatest looking beer but flavourwise pretty reasonable. Sharpish malt notes which then lean to fruity, wine gum like, then a flowery hop. Good stuff.

Ungstrup (23961) - Oamaru, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 12, 2010
Cask at NWAF 2009. A pale brown beer with no head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and fruit - among them light citrus fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and fruit, leading to a dry bitter finish.

Cask (gravity) @ National Winter Ales Festival 2009, Manchester, England.
Clear medium to dark amber color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, fruity - berry sweet. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat to soft. [20090122]

downender (4389) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - APR 4, 2009
Bottle from Brewer’s Droop, Bristol. Bronze coloured with a decent, but short-lived, off-white head. Aroma of toffee, burnt malts and a touch of banana. Full mouth feel with alcohol fairly prominent. Flavour of weetabix, molasses and a touch of spice, with a short, bitter finish and a chocolate coating left behind in the mouth. Unusual and drinkable.

Quack-Duck (5921) - Down South, GERMANY - FEB 21, 2009
bottle from Darts Farm. Clear dark amber-brown colour, small beige head. Aroma of fruit and malt. Full-bodied with an intensive wheaty character. Malty-sweet with some spicy hops, yeast and wheat flavours. Strongly reminds me of a good German Weizenbock. A very nice English wheat ale.

duff (5483) - St, Margarets, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 17, 2009
Bottle. Very stale, tastes pasteurised. Some lightly grassy hops or something. But kind of indestinguishable from the rest of their beers in the bottle, except stronger in flavour or soemthing. Pretty boring though.

Bottle.Dark with a sharp maltiness.Although it contains wheat this flavour does not dominate. An excellent full bodied beer.

BCA (from Bitter Virtue). Dark brown. Toffee and rounded fruit nose. Some sweetness from the malt with more dark toffee flavours. A little fresh wheaty tartness to end? or my imagination? Quite good.
